The top half of the A-10 stacks up fine against the BCS conferences - it's the bottom half that drags the thing down a bit. It's not always the same characters, but the bottom three teams are always in the 225-300 range in the RPI - it hurts the league's credibility.

This year, XU and Dayton are NCAA locks and Temple has a very good shot if they can win 5 of their remaining 6. Their SOS ranking is 31st, their current RPI is 34 (with a 15-9 record).

I like XU in the A-10. The league is not what it was in the mid 90s, but it's still better than Horizon, CUSA and MVC (A10 is 8th in current conference RPI). XU has a great shot to win the league every year, they play a great non-conference schedule and the formula is working.
